This report presents findings from the 2015 Focus Groups on Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (2015 FGSAPR) study, which collected qualitative feedback from military members through focus groups using trained moderators to facilitate discussion on these topics. The 2015 FGSAPR was generated in response to ongoing National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) requirements and guidance from a Secretary of Defense Directive (Secretary of Defense, 2014). The Defense Research, Surveys, and Statistics Center (RSSC) within the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) was tasked with this effort. The goal of the 2015 FGSAPR effort was to engage in small group discussions with military members across the Department of Defense (DoD) on issues related to sexual assault. These structured discussions were designed to better understand how recent changes in sexual assault policies and programs have impacted military members and their workplace environment, as well as, address the military's climate of sexual assault response and prevention.

This tabulation volume presents findings from the 2015 QuickCompass of Sexual Assault Prevention and Response-Related Responders (2015 QSAPR) conducted by the Defense Research, Surveys, and Statistics Center (RSSC) within the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC). This survey was conducted at the request of the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Office (SAPRO) as part of its ongoing evaluation efforts of Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) programs towards sexual assault prevention and survivor support. The survey was designed to provide insights about SAPR responders-Sexual Assault Response Coordinators (SARCs) and Victims Advocates (VAs)-at military installations worldwide, to understand how effectively responders are trained for their positions, and their perceptions of how well their program is supported and executed.

This visitor study report profiles a systematic random sample of Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area (NRRA) visitors during September 4-10 and 20-23, 2012. A total of 751 questionnaires were distributed to visitor groups. Of those, 474 questionnaires were returned, resulting in a 63.1% response rate.

This tabulation volume documents the survey results for the Service Academy 2006 Gender Relations Survey that the Defense Manpower Data Center conducted in response to Section 527 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2004. This survey is the third of a series of Congressionally- mandated surveys designed to assess the incidence of unwanted sexual contact and harassment and related issues at the Service Academies.

A pilot-scale field demonstration of waste isolation using viscous- liquid containment barriers has been planned for the 281-3H retention basin at the Savannah River Site, Aiken, SC. The 281-3H basin is a shallow retention/seepage basin contaminated mainly by radionuclides. The viscous-liquid containment barrier utilizes the permeation of liquid grout to either entomb the contaminants within a monolithic grout structure or to isolate the waste by drastically reducing the permeability, of the soils around the plume. A clear understanding of the hydrogeologic setting of the retention basin is necessary for proper design of the viscous liquid barrier. To aid in the understanding of the hydrogeology of the 281-3H retention basin, and to obtain critical parameters necessary for grout injection design, a series of tests were undertaken in a region immediately adjacent to the basin. The objectives of the LWIT were: 1. To evaluate the general performance of the Lance Injection Technique for grout emplacement at the site, including the range and upper limits of injection pressures, the flow rates applicable for site conditions, as well as the mechanical forces needed for lance penetration. 2. To obtain detailed information on the injectability of the soils immediately adjacent to the H-area retention basin. 3. To identify any high permeability zones suitable for injection and evaluate their spatial distribution. 4. To perform ground penetrating radar (GPR) to gain information on the structure of the soil column and to compare the results with LWIT data. This report will focus on results pertinent to these objectives.

The study offers a detailed examination of Guangdong's transport system in the late eighties, highlighting the principal constraints, the likely pattern of modal development and the investment priorities. Guangdong is one of China's most dynamic provinces. Its future economic successes will depend to a significant extent on the ability to improve infrastructure, especially transport facilities. The paper not only identifies the scale of the problem but also indicates how it might be solved. A central question is the economic role of the different modes of transport: rail, road, water, and air. The study seeks to lay a foundation for systematic comparison of the costs of the different modes for four major traffics; (1) passengers, (2) coal, (3) heavy freight, and (4) less-than-carload shipments.

Two programs were designed to assist the investigator of sleep in reducing polygraphic data to useful statistical forms. The first program accepts simple statements of sleep stage and the polygraph page numbers on which the stage occurs, and converts these to an ordered table describing an individual sleep data file. Several optional input formats are also permissable. Summary statistics on the file are provided, both as print-outs and as punch card outputs. A tape for input to a general purpose plotting program is written. A second program combines punch card outputs from one or more groups of files and provides descriptive statistics on these groups.
